Set to hit theaters across North America just in time for Christmas 2025, this festive horror movie promises a terrifying holiday experience like no other.

The production, backed by Bondit, has unveiled a haunting first image featuring Rohan Campbell—known for The Hardy Boys and Halloween Ends—in the pivotal role of Billy Chapman. For fans familiar with the franchise, Billy is the haunted protagonist who dons the Santa suit and embarks on a brutal killing spree, a character etched deeply into slasher movie lore.

Joining Campbell is Ruby Modine as Pamela, a colleague who becomes the object of Billy’s unrequited affection. Additional cast members recently announced include Mark Acheson, David Lawrence Brown, and David Tomlinson, rounding out a talented ensemble poised to breathe new life into this classic horror tale.

The Slay-Ride Continues

For those new to the franchise, Silent Night, Deadly Night originally debuted in 1984 and tells the dark story of a boy traumatized by witnessing his parents murdered by a man dressed as Santa Claus. Years later, the boy grows into a tormented man who channels his pain into a bloody quest for revenge. The original film’s enduring legacy spawned several sequels and a loose remake in 2012, cementing its status in slasher movie history. This latest reboot is both written and directed by Mike P. Nelson, known for his work on Wrong Turn and V/H/S/85. The project reunites the original 1984 Tri-Star producers Scott Schneid and Dennis Whitehead with new creative forces including Jamie R. Thompson (Old Henry), Erik Bernard of Rebel 6, and Jeremy Torrie of White Bear Films. This blend of original creators and fresh talent aims to deliver a movie that respects its roots while offering a modern, psychological twist.

The project is led by Line Producer Tanya Brunel, ensuring the production stays on course.
