Dropout has unveiled the first full trailer for the upcoming season of the popular anthology tabletop actual play series, “Dimension 20.” Titled “Cloudward, Ho!”, this new season returns with game master Brennan Lee Mulligan and the core cast known as the Intrepid Heroes.
The story follows the Intrepid Heroes — Emily Axford, Ally Beardsley, Brian Murphy, Zac Oyama, Siobhan Thompson, and Lou Wilson — as they journey to the fantastical world of Gath. This realm is filled with mechanical marvels and hidden dangers. Their mission: to band together and take to the skies in search of the missing Professor Comfrey MacLeod.
Ally Beardsley portrays Olethra MacLeod, a young woman deeply connected to her family’s adventurous legacy and determined to find her grandfather. Accompanying her is Van Chapman (Siobhan Thompson), a tough sailor with a mechanical arm from a storied seafaring lineage, and Marya Junkova (Emily Axford), a gaunt figure starving not physically but spiritually.
Adding to the ensemble are Brian Murphy’s enigmatic Maxwell, Zac Oyama as a gunslinging elder, and Lou Wilson playing a burly adventurer. The trailer also features striking animated sequences reminiscent of earlier seasons like “Dimension 20: Mentopolis,” showcasing armor-clad dinosaurs, fiery molten pits, and mysterious underwater ruins. These visuals hint at a thrilling Indiana Jones-style steampunk movie adventure within the tabletop series.
This season marks the first Intrepid Heroes installment following the group’s sold-out performance at Madison Square Garden, where they revisited the world of “Dimension 20: The Unsleeping City.”
“Dimension 20: Cloudward, Ho!” premieres June 4 exclusively on Dropout, with new episodes releasing weekly. Fans can expect an exciting blend of storytelling, strategy, and roleplaying in this eagerly awaited new chapter.
