Josh Duhamel Stars in Action Comedy ‘London Calling’

Quiver Distribution has unveiled the official trailer for London Calling, an upcoming R-rated action comedy starring Transformers veteran Josh Duhamel. Following its premiered at the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival, the movie is slated for a wide theatrical release on September 19, 2025.

The film’s synopsis sets the tone: “After fleeing the UK from a job gone wrong, a down on his luck hitman is forced to babysit the son of his new crime boss and show him how to become a man.” This unique blend of crime and comedy brings fresh energy to the movie genre of action comedies.

The newly released trailer introduces Duhamel as a hitman who escapes London after killing the cousin of his boss’s wife. Hoping to reunite with his own son, he accepts a dangerous assignment from his new boss in Los Angeles. This job involves looking after the boss’s awkward teenage son and teaching him life lessons amid high-stakes criminal activity. Duhamel even marked Father’s Day on Instagram by inviting audiences to experience the movie.

Written and directed by Allan Ungar, London Calling features a screenplay co-written with Omer Levin Menekse and Quinn Wolfe. The film boasts a talented ensemble cast including Jeremy Ray Taylor as Julian, Rick Hoffman as Benson, Aidan Gillen as Freddy Darby, Arnold Vosloo as Harry, Neil Sandilands as Alistair Mcrory, and Finnley Barnett as Oliver Ward.
