Filipino-American actor and host KC Montero has officially joined the cast of the highly anticipated neo-noir thriller Shadow Transit. The film also features UK-based singer-songwriter Qymira and Indonesian-born, US-based actor Yoshi Sudarso, adding fresh talent to this gripping narrative.
Produced by BlackOps Studios Asia and ACT3, Shadow Transit is set to begin principal photography this July across Manila and Hong Kong. The film marks director Pedring Lopez’s first English-language feature, following his Netflix original action film Maria, which also starred Montero.
Shadow Transit tells the story of a grief-stricken photojournalist and a haunted DJ forced to navigate the dark underworlds of Manila and Hong Kong while evading a ruthless crime syndicate. This intense plotline is expected to captivate audiences who appreciate a mix of suspense and atmospheric storytelling typical of the neo-noir genre.
