Apple Original’s upcoming film Echo Valley features Julianne Moore and Sydney Sweeney in a tense portrayal of a mother-daughter relationship shrouded in a dark, dangerous secret. The movie is set to be released in select theaters and on Apple TV+ on June 13.
In this psychological thriller, Moore plays Kate, a mother desperately trying to reconcile with her troubled daughter Claire, portrayed by Sweeney. Their fragile relationship takes a chilling turn when Claire arrives at Kate’s doorstep, hysterical and covered in blood. As Kate unravels the disturbing events that led to this moment, she discovers the terrifying lengths a mother will go to protect her child.
Directed by Michael Pearce, known for Beast and Encounter, Echo Valley is penned by Brad Ingelsby, the writer behind acclaimed projects like Mare of Easttown and Out of the Furnace.
The film also stars Domhnall Gleeson, Kyle MacLachlan, Fiona Shaw, Edmund Donovan, and Albert Jones in supporting roles. The movie is produced by Ridley Scott and Michael Pruss through Scott Free Films, alongside Kevin J. Walsh of The Walsh Company and Ingelsby.
