South Korean actor Byeon Woo-seok, widely recognized for his role in the 2024 romance drama Lovely Runner, will return to the Philippines for a fan meet on July 19 at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City. The event, titled Daydreamin’, The Byeon Woo-seok Fan Meet, is being presented by Dunkin’ Philippines, the latest brand to feature the actor as its endorser.
Dunkin’ Philippines revealed the exciting news on social media Friday morning. Byeon, who was named the brand’s new ambassador earlier this year in January, has been gaining increasing attention both locally and internationally.
At 33 years old, Byeon first garnered attention through roles in popular Korean dramas such as Record of Youth and Strong Girl Nam-soon. However, it was his portrayal of a swimmer-turned-singer and actor in Lovely Runner that solidified his status as a rising star. In the drama, his character is admired by the character played by Kim Hye-yoon.
This upcoming fan meet follows Byeon’s successful visit to Manila in June 2024, where he also engaged with fans during a previous event. Fans are eagerly anticipating his return, as his popularity continues to soar across Asia.
