‘Zombie Plane’ Takes Flight with Star-Studded Cast

by Chris Davies

In one of the most eccentric and star-studded movie announcements of the year, Zombie Plane is preparing to hit screens with a cast that reads like a fever dream: Ice-T, Vanilla Ice, Brian Austin Green, Sophie Monk, Sir Bob Geldof, and none other than martial arts icon Chuck Norris. The cast also includes basketball star Stephen Curry and Australian media heavyweight Kyle Sandilands.

The film introduces a secret double life for these celebrities. By day, they’re the famous personalities we all recognize—but by night, they transform into covert operatives saving the world from untraceable threats. At the center of the chaos stands Commander Chuck Norris, leading a rogue squad to prevent global annihilation.

“It’s a wild, absurd, and totally unexpected take on the action genre,” said producer Jess Butland of Radioactive Pictures. “I am excited to see this high-octane thrill ride of laughs and action come to life.”

Adding to the madness, Zombie Plane is backed by a thumping soundtrack with original tracks from the cast, including Vanilla Ice and Ice-T—who is well known for both his music and his long-running role as Detective Fin Tutuola in more than 550 episodes of Law & Order: SVU.

This ambitious project marks the first collaboration between Australia’s Radioactive Pictures and U.S.-based Entertainment Squad, founded by veteran producer Shaked Berenson, known for cult hits like Turbo Kid and The Man Who Killed Hitler.

“As a genre, horror has always been a powerful way to blend social commentary with outrageous entertainment,” Berenson said. “Zombie Plane carries that torch with its absurd premise and sharp satire. We embrace the weird, the wild, and the unexpected!”

Combining outrageous humor with action and zombie horror tropes, the film promises to explore themes typically found in Scary Movie spoofs, while paying homage to classic movie genre conventions. It’s a cinematic mashup of satire, scares, and spectacle.

Prepare for an off-the-wall ride when Zombie Plane takes flight later this year—bringing an unlikely crew of real-life icons to the frontline of a zombie apocalypse like no other.
