Tollywood star Pawan Kalyan’s highly anticipated movie Ustaad Bhagat Singh is set to resume filming after a prolonged break, signaling a major step forward for fans eagerly awaiting the project. Reports confirm that actress Sreeleela will commence shooting her portions in the first week of June, committing to an intensive one-month schedule alongside the star.
Directed by Harish Shankar, Ustaad Bhagat Singh is scheduled for a theatrical release in 2026. The film is widely believed to be a Telugu remake of the Tamil blockbuster Theri, directed by Atlee Kumar, which featured Thalapathy Vijay as a former IPS officer leading a quiet life with his daughter until circumstances force him to confront his past. This lineage sets high expectations for the movie’s narrative and action sequences.
In related news, Pawan Kalyan is preparing for the upcoming release of Hari Hara Veera Mallu, directed by Krish Jagarlamudi and AM Jyothi Krishna. The movie, starring a star-studded cast including Bobby Deol, Nidhhi Agerwal, Nargis Fakhri, and Nora Fatehi, is scheduled to hit theatres on June 12. Meanwhile, Kalyan is also actively shooting for They Call Him OG, a gritty gangster drama helmed by director Sujeeth.
Meanwhile, Sreeleela is expanding her footprint in the industry, soon to share the screen with Kartik Aaryan in a romantic drama, where she has been candidly sharing behind-the-scenes glimpses. Additionally, she will feature alongside Ravi Teja in the action-packed Mass Jathara.
